Cannabis-Infused Eggnog Recipe

Eggnog is the most Christmas-y of all Christmas things, besides maybe an actual Christmas tree. It is a holiday staple in most American families and has been for quite some time. It’s the perfect combination of sweet, creamy, and thick and pairs wonderfully with a holiday cookie or by itself. It’s the definition of a gift that keeps on giving.

And in this case, it’s the gift of our cannabis-infused eggnog recipe.

Before we jump into the recipe, let’s talk about cannabutter.

What is cannabutter, and how is it made?

Most cannabis-infused treats use cannabutter to seamlessly blend cannabis with other cooking ingredients. It’s a way for decarboxylated weed to bind to an oily substance, like butter, and spread or melt easily when cooked.

In basic terms, cannabutter is made by cooking your desired amount of weed in the oven, mixing it with melted butter, and then clarifying the butter by using a cheesecloth or strainer. We’d recommend making the cannabutter beforehand, so this Eggnog recipe will take you less than half the time. Here’s an easy way to make cannabutter.

How to Make Cannabis-Infused Eggnog

You have your cannabutter, and you’re ready to go? Wonderful- you’re right where we want you. Make sure your cannabutter is good and softened, it’ll make it easier to mix and leave you with a smoother eggnog.
