Get stoned, stay caffeinated, and help fight for more just drug policies.
For the entire month of February, L.A.’s favorite purveyors of mood-lifting substances, Emjay and Alfred, have joined forces. Not only are we coming together to ensure Angelenos are getting the strong weed & dank cold brew they deserve, but we’re teaming up to amplify our support of the Last Prisoner Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforming unjust cannabis laws that disproportionately harm Black and brown communities.
If you’ve popped into Alfred to grab a cup of coffee lately, you’ve probably seen our Emjay murals, and you’ve probably come out with an Emjay sleeve around your cup that’ll inspire you to keep doing that thing you love: smoking weed.
But we hope it’ll also inspire you to participate in our Round Up feature at checkout. With every order you place with Emjay, you have an option to round up your purchase to the nearest dollar and have that amount donated to the Last Prisoner Project. As long as our lights are on, Emjay will be matching up to $50,000 a month in customer round-ups.
As for our pals at Alfred, for the rest of the month, they’re donating 25 cents of every cold brew purchase to the Last Prisoner Project. Our aim is that over time, these consistent contributions add up to meaningful support for an organization that is doing vital work in overturning unjust laws and policies in the cannabis space. Seems like it’s about time to get some weed delivered and drink some cold brew, yeah?
